This green -blue stone is found in Mexico, Russia, Brazil, India, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the United States. Aquamarine is a stone which promotes courage and calming energies. It can protect against environmental pollutants and reduce stress. Long ago, it was said to ward off forces of evil and call fourth the guardians of light. Sailors often carried Aquamarine as a talisman against drowning.
